I know, I'm shamelessly posting yet another picture of the Redwood E2, but the case arrived today and I think its just sweet! It has the vintage gold leaf interior. Black with gold hardware. Cedar Creek. 
lastly, what do you all think of this pick guard? Its just laying in place. Dose it fit close enough to the rosette?

Yeah I LOVE Cedar Creek, they do very good work. And the great thing is they will build them custom to your shape. So my fanned frets with the slanted backs have a great fit... Nice Guitar Lance!! -Paul- |

Lance is Cedar Creek the company that embroiders the cases with a logo as well? I remember there being a post of a really nice case with the guitar makers logo embroidered on it. |

I think you are thinking of Ameritage. I am working with them on a custom case now too. They are also great. |

Looks like it's a CC616 "American Vintage Series Archtop" AT Small Jumbo Guitar Case. Retail is $349.95. A bit pricey, but worth it, I'm thinking. Best, Michael |

...I just took delivery of 4 of my cases for Healdsburg. All custom made and contain my embroidered logo. Ameritage and very nice.

Nice case!! and great pickguard too.It doesn't quite fit the rosette but sure is pretty!

lance, just trim it a tad. find(bottle, can or something) or makecirle route a plywood disk) a round form same size as rosette, sand pickguard to diametere and match the edge bevel. as good as that guitar looks you want the pickguard to fit right. no one else may ever notice but you will every time you see it or think about it. |

Yeah, a little nervous. They were due in mid July but got hung up in shipping. I actually drove to the warehouse to pick them up. |

At these prices for wood cases, why don't y'all just pony up for a Calton and have a real one that fits even better, and protects like no other can come close to? Ever go backstage at Merlefest, or some such large gathering of professional acoustic musicians? 90% Caltons, and for good reason. |

I like the Ameritage too. It's what I am currently putting all my guitars in. Relatively speaking it was the best deal in town. I believe I paid around $160. wholesale? Now don't get mad but it's no Musicians Friend $39 special... but hey...my guitars deserve better. 
Mario, I agree with you... except as you stated "backstage". These are touring musicians. Most of my customers would like to be on tour but aren't. So I can sell them a $400 Ameritage case for $300 and make a small handling fee everyones happy and safe! |

I Paid $148 for the same case Lance has posted in lots of 4. If my client wants to upgrade to a Calton, I would be happy to let him do that but I probably won't be carrying them as a standard until I have consistent demand for them. Right now I'm just trying to work on consistent demand for my guitars.
